In this lab, students dissect a lamb heart to explore its anatomical structures and understand mammalian cardiovascular function. They identify key features such as the aorta, pulmonary arteries and veins, vena cava, and the four chambers of the heart—right and left atria, and right and left ventricles. This hands-on activity reinforces the structural organization and function of the heart within a circulatory system.
