My work focuses on the mechanistic characterization of neuromuscular disorders and the discovery of novel therapeutic targets for these diseases.

I graduated from uOttawa in 2024 with a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Medicine. I have a particular interest in neuromuscular diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases.

I am specializing in developing natural compound treatments for myotonic dystrophy type 1 by targeting RNA toxicity. With a passion for advancing scientific research, I’m dedicated to making meaningful contributions to medical science.

I am passionate about research and mentoring as a chemistry TA at uOttawa. I am also a passionate singer with a love for Broadway and opera. Singing has been a central part of my life for over 15 years, and one of my childhood dreams is to perform in a Broadway musical.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Western and have since been passionate about research. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, skiing, and competitive golf with the Pembroke Golf Club.
