Our group advances electronics technology by developing semiconductors that offer superior functionality, flexibility and manufacturability. Our core strategy involves the synergistic integration of silicon, III-V semiconductors and emerging materials platforms, including organic/inorganic thin films, graphene, perovskites and nanoparticles.
Our lab fabricates key circuit components, such as diodes, transistors, sensors, photodetectors and memory cells, to validate their performance for future applications in chips, displays, wearables, connected objects and healthcare products.
Additionally, we develop models to describe the electronic, photonic and excitonic processes governing unconventional devices. These models bridge the gap between theory and experiment, enabling researchers to predict device behavior and optimize device design with greater efficiency.
