Prof. Jules Blais
Dr. Jules M. Blais is a professor in the Department of Biology and cross-appointed in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Ottawa. He specializes in environmental science, environmental chemistry, limnology, and aquatic science.
Il étudie les impacts humains sur les environnements naturels, notamment en identifiant les sources, les voies d'entrée et le devenir des substances chimiques dans les milieux environnementaux. Le Dr Blais et son équipe utilisent des archives environnementales, telles que des carottes de sédiments, pour suivre l'évolution historique de l'environnement.
