Our research examines the behaviour of redox-sensitive metals in a variety of settings.
Theme I focuses on the distribution of metals and chalcophile elements in subduction zones. Theme II evaluate magmatism linked to metallic mineral deposits.
We also study dispersion of metals from concealed deposits.
RESEARCH
Recycling of elements in subduction zones
Volcanoes keep discharging volatiles because these elements are transferred from the surface to deep mantle where magmas are generated.
