Biography

Andrew Bui Thuc is a first year teacher candidate with mathematics and physics teachable subjects currently stationed at St. Mother Teresa. He is actively involved in the schools volleyball teams as an assistant coach using his past experiences with the sport to aid him in his coaching style which transfers in their teaching practices. In the classrooms, he integrates technology and gamified lessons to keep his students engaged in the material.

Furthermore, Andrew actively collaborates with his associate teacher and other teachers in various departments to get different perspectives and teaching practices from veteran teachers and newer permanent teachers. Building on other perspectives, Andrew uses his background in interdisciplinary studies to integrate a broad view for complex challenges, which aids in differentiated and modified lesson planning.

Andrew Bui Thuc is a teacher candidate who focuses on the Mathematics and Physics. He is interested in finding fun ways to teach scientific concepts that represents his interests and hobby, often creating questions that challenge his students while referring to some of his favourite games. In addition, Andrew integrates the use of technology to make his lessons both efficient and engaging for his students. He shows his love and interest in sports through his coaching of volleyball and basketball.
