This newsletter serves as a template that can be updated, revised and reused over the years. I believe that effective communication and collaboration between school and home are vital to student success, and this introductory newsletter is a great tool that can help break the ice with parents and give them all the important information they would need in one convenient place.

Find Your Voice
The assignment was to create an integrated digital literature anthology targeted towards the junior reader with a central theme in mind. I chose three books that center around the theme of finding your voice. This theme was important to me because I believe teaching kids to develop their own voice and express themselves is crucial for their growth as confident, independent thinkers. It empowers them to articulate their thoughts, advocate for themselves, and engage meaningfully in their communities.

When tasked with to create a hands-on math activity, creating a game that reflects my backgrounds in math and economics felt like a natural fit. In this game, students are given a budget to invest in hypothetical stocks. The prices of stocks will fluctuate based on dice rolls, and students will have to make strategic investment decisions based on the state of the market.
